Thank you for stopping by! This week has been a whirlwind of celebrating weight loss, shopping, visits with friends and rest. Since starting the Mediterranean Diet to help control RA pain, I've felt healthier and even lost weight! Less weight for me equals less pain, and new jeans. Though thrilled about the weight loss, not so much shopping for jeans. After a couple of days shopping, and an ever so tactful suggestion from a sales lady to go down yet another size, I found jeans! Score!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week. My son-in-law surprised us Saturday morning with a big, delicious breakfast—eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, green chile with meat, fresh fruit salad, and coffee. Yum! We spent the morning listening to the grandbabies share about their lives, and my eldest grandson even gave a presentation on the three-castle kingdom he created in Minecraft. It was wonderful.

Take good care and, as Daddy used to say,

"Make memories; it's later than you think."

Yesterday was an my youngest grandson played in an exciting basketball game and then, we had an amazing trip to one of "my libraries", about 25 minutes away. Every day this week I've spent at least five to six hours visiting with friends and grandchildren. We also experienced a major victory over cancer which I joyfully share in my Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer article.
